Dr. Scholl’s Active Series is amazing!
I got a free pair of these most awesome items in the mail from Influenster and I have to say I am most pleased. These things took my horrible shoes and made them amazing!
I have horrible foot problems due to having ridiculously high arches, and I can’t seem to ever get my feet to like me. Insoles normally feel awkward and invasive in my shoes, but these ones felt like they were made for my shoes! My feet smile, I swear.
I can now walk better and my work performance has improved now that I can run instead of hobble!
Thank you influenster for the opportunity to test these bad boys out! And thank you Dr. Scholl’s for creating such greatness!

܀ history meme ܀ ten female royals: Margaret of Anjou {23 March 1430 – 25 August 1482} (6/10)

→ Queen Consort of England

Margaret of Anjou has been infamously placed amongst the other women who reside under the title of a “she-wolf”. She has come across as a woman who, in her apparent ruthless bid for power, dared to step outside of the medieval mind-set of the prescribed gender roles and overstepped her position as queen consort. From this outlook, both her contemporaries and historians have judged her for the actions that she took, perhaps too harsh in their conclusions. Margaret, for her part, has never been an overtly popular queen, opinions on her during her lifetime swinging from praise one minute to utter condemnation the next. She came at a time where anti-French sentiment was still rife and the kingdom was under the rule of a king that, even during the time before his illness, had a hard time ruling. Margaret’s slow emergence as a political player against a backdrop of messy political intrigues shows her taking control when it was clear her husband could not and her own daring to fight for what was hers and her son’s rights.
